Objective of the Scheme
The National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS), also known as RashtriyaParivarik Labh Yojana, was launched by the Uttar Pradesh government in January 2016. - The applicant (next head of the family) must be between 18 and 60 years of age.
- The deceased must have been aged between 18 and 60 years.
Special Categories
- Priority for marginalized communities, including SC/ST families.
- Widows and dependents of the deceased are the primary beneficiaries.
