Objective of the Scheme
The Mahadevi Verma Shramik Pustak Kraya Dhan Yojana (MVSPKDPY) was launched in 2022 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to support the education of daughters of construction workers. Eligibility Criteria
Who Can Apply?
- Workers employed in registered establishments under:
- Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1962
- Factories Act, 1948 (in Uttar Pradesh)
- Monthly Salary Limit: The worker’s basic salary + dearness allowance must not exceed ₹15,000 per month.
- Minimum Service Requirement: The worker must have completed at least six months of continuous service and must be employed at the time of application.
- Daughters’ Eligibility: Only two daughters per worker can avail of the scheme benefits.
- Women Workers’ Eligibility: If the worker is a woman, she is eligible to apply for herself.
- When Both Parents are Workers: If both mother and father are employed, only one parent can apply for the scheme.
Application Process

- For New Users:

- - Submit the form to generate a User ID and Password, which will be sent to the registered mobile number.

- Fill in the Application Form:

- - Upload a recent photograph of the applicant.

- Present the printed application form to the educational institution and factory/establishment for verification and endorsement.
- Upload Verified Form:
- Log in again and upload a scanned copy of the verified application form with supporting documents.
- Save and submit the application.
- Scholarship Disbursement:
- Upon successful verification, the amount is credited to the beneficiary’s bank account.

- Check the status using the "Application Status" option on the portal.
